Featured Best Pools in las Vegas
The Caesars Palace Pool is known as the “Garden of the Gods” and for good reason. Over 4.5 acres of this luxurious poolside setting include four pools, two whirlpools, and of course the Roman fountains and statues that follow the theme of the hotel.
The Caesars Palace pool is so elegant that many couples even choose to have their wedding outside in the garden area near the pool. The heated pools stay at comfortable temperatures during colder days and are open almost all day long during the summer months. (Check times based on season)
Food and drinks are available poolside (during the summer) and rafts are available for rent. Also depending on season, there are hard-top cabanas and soft-top cabanas available to create a more private setting for those looking to stay away from the crowded maze of lounge chairs. Cabana costs and hours tend to range based on season.
The Venus Pool at Caesars Palace is newly designed and offers European style (topless) sunbathing. This exclusive setting is a unique environment in itself. It has 12 private poolside cabanas available. This special oasis is considered one of the best nightclub experiences in town; it just happens to take place during the day. Guests at Venus Pool will be treated to hourly mistings with bottles of Evian water, fresh fruit, and complimentary frozen towels. This exclusive club is a spectacle of Vegas “eye-candy” with great music and a modern vibe that you will only find at this trendy daytime hotspot. Pool-goers must be 21 or older with valid ID.

| The Pool at the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel |
|
It probably doesn’t come as a surprise that The Flamingo Pool is considered one of the best in town. The entire hotel boasts a tropical theme that will have guests longing for a beach the second they walk in. Although far from the tropics, the Flamingo delivers an island paradise like none other in Vegas. Many hotels offer themed pools that are relaxing and fun, but none offer the Caribbean feeling that seems to come almost effortlessly at the Flamingo Pool.
The Flamingo Las Vegas has one of the most stunning and memorable pools on the Strip. Fifteen acres of tropical fantasyland and wildlife habitats are open year round. The luxurious landscaping includes four pools (including the original oval-shaped pool from Bugsy Siegel’s era), two whirlpools, waterslides, and a special upper deck pool with swim-up blackjack.
Real penguins, flamingoes, swans and exotic birds wander the oasis as people swim beneath stone grottos and waterfalls, overshadowed by palm trees. The plush surroundings are also a popular landing-ground for families and kids. There are a series of waterslides and children’s pools that separate a special area perfect for families. There are also rafts and pool toys available.
The Flamingo Pool isn’t just for families. It’s also a perfect spot for a romantic get away. Couples can rent side by side lounge chairs on one of the “islands” (partially surrounded by water) at the lagoon pool. Poolside service includes food and drinks from a bar that specializes in frozen drinks. Towel service is also included.
There are several cabanas available for rent and they are all complete with the normal Vegas poolside extras like TVs, fruit trays, and rafts. Cabana rates vary based on weekday, weekend or holiday times, and you must be 21 years of age or older to rent them. However, be sure to get the pool area early during the summer. It is not unlikely that even open areas of concrete will be occupied completely by around noon.
There is also a European (topless) sunbathing area called Go Pool on a higher level of the hotel that is for adults-only. It is in hidden spots like these, where the true flavor of Sin City comes alive.
Best things about the Flamingo Pools:
- Gigantic oasis with amazing tropical landscaping
- Unique wildlife habitat
| The Pool at the Venetian Las Vegas Hotel |
|
The Venetian Hotel and Casino offers a taste of Italy both inside and out. The pools at the Venetian offer a sophisticated five-acre environment with great amenities and service. The main pool area has a spa and three pools- two standard pools and one lounge pool. There are 25 cabanas available and four partially enclosed pavilion beds.
Poolside amenities include cocktail service and a full-service bar with televisions for watching sports while enjoying the atmosphere of the pool deck. Food is available at the poolside eatery, Riva by Wolfgang Puck. There is a great pool retail store and sizable hot tub. The environment at the Venetian pool deck is both soothing and relaxing.
The main pool area has an oversized rectangular pool that is perfect for laps or just relaxing in the shallow areas. The pool is surrounded by beautiful columns and perfectly manicured gardens made to resemble one of the many bathing areas seen in Venice. There is also a very shallow lounging pool with water levels that barely cover the bottom of sunken lounge chairs. This area is perfect for relaxing in a lounge chair while still feeling the refreshment of the water. Ladies can relax in the pool, without even getting their hair wet. This is also a great area for adults and kids because it’s shallow enough for children to play in without moms having to worry.
There is also a quieter, more secluded pool which can only be accessed through a separate entrance at through the Venezia Tower. This pool is small and is slightly shaded for those looking to enjoy a book, instead of bake in the sun.
For a pool experience on a different level, Tao Beach is a seasonal private outdoor club located poolside at the Venetian. The party here can get a little crazy early in the day and this is one of the main reasons that Venetian is on our list of Best Pools. There is a special entrance to this trendy scene and it’s only open to adults 21 and over. Tao Beach is a great place for Vegas visitors to start their afternoons drinking to carry them through the night and give them a taste of the intensity of Tao Nightclub.
And for the snow birds, enjoy the select pools that are heated and open even during the “cooler” fall and winter months. Check with hotel for pool hours; varying season to season.

| The Pool at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino |
|
There is no pool in Las Vegas that has more young hip people than the Hard Rock and it’s no wonder that it is in our Top 10 when it comes to Las Vegas pool scenes. Named by the Travel Channel as one of the Top 10 pools in the world, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino offers layers of soft sand, both in its pools and on the lushly landscaped beach, making guests feel like they are partying like a rock star on a Polynesian island. The Hard Rock Las Vegas Hotel and Casino throws some of the most amazing pool parties on the planet. Most notably, Rehab, the Sunday pool party brings the fun out of everyone as the fun continues long into the evening.
So what makes the Hard Rock pool so special? Well first of all, it’s almost not fair to call it a pool. The Hard Rock offers a full size man-made beach and if the underwater sound system doesn’t impress, then the mermaids swimming in the pool or the go-go dancers might. The cabanas, that resemble Tahitian huts, come equipped with private refrigerators, personal misting systems and exclusive amenities. The cabanas, however, are hard to get so reserve in advance.
Those looking to swim a few laps should take the lazy river to one of the more traditional pools at Hard Rock. However, swimming is really not the name of the game at the Hard Rock Pool. It’s more about chilling out in the water and people watching.
This grownup party scene is usually packed with women in their 20’s and 30’s in barely-there bikinis. Food and drinks are available throughout the day, and the bar is often the place to be.
Best things about the Pool at the Hard Rock Las Vegas:
- One of the Top 10 Pools in the World, named by the Travel Channel
- People watching

| The Pool at Mandalay Bay |
|
Many Vegas insiders consider the Mandalay Bay to be the mother of all Las Vegas pools. Named by Trip Advisor as one of the best pools in the U.S., this amazing pool experience includes an 11-acre beach with a gigantic (and well-known) wave pool, in addition to three smaller pools and a winding lazy river.
The Mandalay Bay Pool is one of the most popular pools in Las Vegas, and rightfully so. The European style (topless) pool area known as Moorea Beach Club offers some of the most plush cabanas in town. The beach is piled high with imported beach sand. Although there is plenty of sand in the desert, there’s nothing like real beach sand.
There are numerous food and bevearge stands bordering the large poolside areas, which are accessible from many areas along the lazy river. Make sure to stop by the Beach Bar & Grill for a quick bite to eat, without even having to put shoes on. But, if you are looking for a light and refreshing snack for the day, try the Smoothie Shack located near the South Lagoon Pool. Poolside food and beverage service is also available in most areas.
Not in the mood to get wet? The new Mandalay Bay poolside casino brings gaming action right up next to the relaxing pool atmosphere. This climate-controlled glass room has tables as well as slot machines for play as waves crash just feet from the building. In addition to cabanas, bungalows and even villas are available for rent all along the pool. A third level of Mandalay Bay Beach offers private villas with a private pool area for those (mostly celebrities) who are trying to skip the crowds.
Mandalay Bay pool is crowded at almost any hour, as it transforms from a sunbathing haven during the day to a popular danceclub at night. There is an outdoor concert venue that borders the pool where patrons can view the show from blankets sprawled out on the sand or even from inside the wave pool. This is one of the best places to see a live concert during select performance dates.
Best things about the Mandalay Bay Pool:
- World-famous wave pool
- Spacious sandy beaches
- Poolside Casino
- Relaxing lazy river
- European sunbathing at Moorea Beach |
